I have to admit, after probably over 2 decade of playing guitar and being in and out of different bands over the years, never once did I actually consider seriously teaching guitar or giving guitar lessons.

Most guitarists I know are actually self taught, I am self taught, although it is good to have a bunch of friends who also are guitar enthusiasts so you can exchange ideas, learn from each other, jam together and so on and so forth.

Speaking of jamming together, I caught an interesting article about rhythm guitar lessons on ezinearticles.com, which had a tip about having some sort of small group that can learn guitar together. Anyways check out that article if you can, by clicking the link.
